Dropbox – switched over and loving it

Since the new iCloud announcement signal led the death of the MobileMe
iDisk I had to find a way to store a TON of files I had up there. I
HATE using non-native apps for things like file sync’ing for business
but I finally bit the bullet. I figured if Apple wasn’t even
attempting to compete with these file cloud services then they must
have determined that the others worked well enough and it would have
take them too long to even catch up. So I did the homework and found
that DropBox was the favorite out there. I loaded it up on all
devices (iPad, iPhone, MacBook, iMac) and gave it a go.

As advertised, it shows up as a folder on all computers. Works with
drag-n-drop and is incredibly seamless. Transferred all my files
over without leaving the file manager/finder. Nice. iDisk out,
DropBox in.
